    We're growing our Fleet Product Development team globally and User Experience as a discipline is a key part of this team's strategy. We're searching for passionate and talented Product Designers to be a part of this team driving a better product experience for our users across multiple products and projects for;

    • Fleet - Vehicle asset management products

    • EV - Charge Management and In-Vehicle products

    The Role: Taking the wheel at Hertz

    As a Product Designer, you would be working with a cross-disciplinary product team - designers, researchers, developers, and product managers who are focused on crafting meaningful experiences for our users through thoughtful, data-informed design.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own the product end-to-end user experience, from the big picture (owning the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, engineering, and data science to solve complex problems and ensure the highest quality solutions.

    • Collaborate with UX researchers to understand user needs and behaviors and develop research plans and collaboration models

    • Engage with the field to understand and empathize with their experiences, both good and bad; from employees engaging with the vehicle and our customers at Hertz locations, to management and directors.

    • Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to improve existing products.

    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for various products and platforms.

    • Conduct user research to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.

    • Communicate designs - create meaningful UX deliverables such as storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes and presentations that help the team understand what to build and why.

    • Partner closely with your fellow Senior Product Designers and Researchers to ensure you are following operational structures and best practices.

    • Stay up to date with current design trends and technology advancements.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

    • Knowledge of research and design tools such as Mural, Figma, InVision, Dovetail, Survey Monkey, Google Forms.

    • Experience using quantitative and qualitative research to inform design iteration.

    • Skilled at prototyping and quick thinking.

    • Excellent design and communications capabilities.
