    Required Skills:

    Product Designer Responsibilities

    1. Utilize a full range of human-computer interaction, human factors, product design, and computer visual design skills to design software and/or mobile products and features.

    2. Apply design principles to create work product workflows, proof of concepts, and frameworks.

    3. Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative design mockups and select the style and type of design, including the interfaces between users and technology.

    4. Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar of quality.

    5. Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch.

    6. Design and review product prototypes, mockups and wireframes for the next generation of Meta products.

    7. Participate in design reviews and determine design strategies to make Meta's products more interactive, aesthetic and user friendly.

    8. Conduct research into current design trends and user-experience concepts in order to develop design modifications and revisions that better enhance the user experience and make our interfaces and products easier to use.

    9. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.permitted.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Creating interaction design products and projects in related fields, such as graphic design, typography, or industrial design

    2. Understanding of type, hierarchy, color, composition, contrast, and other graphic design fundamentals

    3. End-to-end iterative design process, from the start of a project to completion, with clear rationale going from step-to-step and examples of early information architecture and wireframes

    4. Evaluating design tradeoffs using various sources of quantitative and/or qualitative data

    5. Ability to articulate reasons for design decisions by explaining other alternatives and corresponding trade-offs

    Public Compensation:

    $210,703/year to $223,850/year + bonus + equity + benefits
