Proposal Writer II

Position Purpose:

Manage proposal projects, including analysis, research, writing, editing of responses for Request For Proposal (RFP)/Request for Information (RFI) questionnaires supporting the sales strategy and strengths of the company's products and services

• Analyze and provide solutions to RFP/RFI questions

• Maintain network dashboards and reports for departmental projects and efficiencies

• Drive proposal processes for RFP/RFI through project management activities to support new and existing client requests

• Present final draft proposals to management for review and approval

• Utilize proposal guides and templates to create new or existing RFP/RFI bids

• Partner with subject matter experts (SME) to gather information and develop material to insert into the RFP/RFI questionnaires

• Maintain and create relevant financial statements and organization charts

• Develop RFP transition documentation that will improve overall quality of business implementation

• Participate in meetings, capture action items and key discussion topics

• Serve as the department SME for assigned functional areas by understanding key concepts and terms

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of combined proposal or grant writing and project management experience, preferably in a marketing, public relations or Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) organization. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Professional and/or desk top publishing software preferred. Previous experience in utilizing SharePoint Software preferred.
