PROTOTYPE STORE COORDINATOR

Summary of Position:

The principal purpose of this position is to manage and organize a productive flow of merchandise samples for the prototype store.

• Essential Activities and Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing receipt, placement and disposal of merchandise samples

• Responsible for moving sample product as needed

• Responsible for setting all merchandise in the prototype store for plan-o-guides, planners, endcaps, events, advertising, marketing, tests, etc.

• Responsible for partnering with Category Merchants on product priorities

• Responsible for partnering with Category Merchants to gain a basic understanding of category strategies to obtain product knowledge

• Responsible for partnering with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Space Planning to understand prototype store priorities

• Responsible for partnering with Merchant's Assistants to procure samples for use in the prototype store

• Consulted to resolve conflicting cross-category prototype store priorities

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma

Qualifications:

• Must be able to fulfill physical requirements for the position (lifting up to 50 lbs)

• Displays excellent communication skills (primarily e-mail)

• Time management skills - self starter

• Good organization skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work with different levels within the organization

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Retail store experience preferred
