    Summary Description:

    ICF, Inc., is seeking a communications professional with prior public health campaign experience to lead the development and dissemination of digital content for a public health campaign geared to help reduce the stigma associated with mental health while seeking to increase the rate at which individuals seek mental health support. The end-goal of this public health campaign is to contribute to a population-wide reduction in deaths by suicide and suicide attempts. This is a contract position supporting a large US government agency.

    While the Content Lead will collaborate with 6 - 7 other team members, this position will also work closely with mental health subject matter experts to collaboratively develop evidence-based content for the campaign. End products will include virtual and live events, social media content, infographics, email blasts, flyers, videos, podcasts, and other marketing products.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Oversee, and participate in, the development of all content for campaign products and events.

    • Manage a team of 2 - 3 communications specialists (e.g., copyeditors, writers, graphic designer, A/V specialist) in developing content for campaign products and events.

    • Work with the ICF contract project manager to ensure the ongoing successful execution of the contract and its objectives.

    • Create editorial calendars for campaign.

    • Lead and manage digital projects delivered by, and in partnership with government public affairs specialists, change management, and information assurance and security support resources.

    • Consult with client, teammates, and stakeholders to identify and specify product requirements.

    • Define product scope and objectives.

    • Ensure all digital products are 508-compliant.

    • Support client in external stakeholder relationship management.

    • Attend promotional events as directed by the client.

    • Provide content monthly performance reports (accomplishments, expenditures, obstacles, etc.).

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or other similar degree.

    • 8+ years of experience developing content for comparable multi-channel public health promotional campaigns.

    • Prior experience as a federal contractor.

    • Prior experience developing Section 508 compliant products and remediating existing products for 508 compliance.

    • Prior experience producing products that comply with Associated Press and APA Style Guide guidelines.

    • Ability to demonstrate 8+ years of copyediting experience for written products.

    • Ability to demonstrate strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of client timelines and budgets.

    • Ability to demonstrate the capacity to collaborate easily with peers, managers, and clients while leading program development to a completed and successful solution.

    • Prior experience developing content for social media dissemination/broadcast.

    • Prior experience managing Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram business accounts.

    • 8+ years proficiently using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams).

    Beneficial Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills):

    • MA or MS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or other similar degree.

    • Experience communicating effectively (speaking and writing) to diverse audiences to convey public health-related processes, problems, and solutions.

    • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including inDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

    Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

    $85,153.00 - $144,760.00
