  • Random House Children's Books (RHCB) is seeking an Assistant to join its Publicity team! In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Executive Director of Publicity & Corporate Communications and have exposure to a wide-range of work associated with the external promotion of the division's authors, illustrators, celebrity talent, brands and licenses, as well as the internal communications functions of ~~~ the Publicity Assistant, your responsibilities will include a combination of administrative and project support, and you will be communicating with a diverse array of partners: authors, illustrators, agents, booksellers, media, and the various departments of RHCB.You will also be monitoring media outlets and distributing news clips, tracking review coverage, invoicing and budget work, supporting donation work and philanthropic initiatives, executing mailings and media database entry. You will support senior publicity staff with projects related to their Publicity campaigns as well as book and brand-specific program launches, including media outreach, research, national author tours, event itineraries and ~~~ the Assistant, you will also execute a significant amount of writing and editing of corporate communications and publicity materials, including staff memos, corporate promotional materials, meeting presentations, research reports, internal media alert emails, press releases, pitch letters, and press kits.Random House Children's Books (~~~) is the world's largest English-language children's trade book publisher.
