    Job Summary:

    This Position performs level 10/20/30 maintenance on radio receiver's transmitters COMSEC equipment. Supervises and develops configuration management policies and procedures; (TMDE) Coordinator for maintenance facilities; coordinates with 'supported units for maintenance and repair of electronic equipment; provides input to unit systems status reports; maintains applicable administrative and maintenance files; recommends ASL Authorized Stockage shop stock and bench stock changes; coordinates with organizations and contractors for maintenance support and assistance; ensures regulatory compliance with Department of Defense and national level directives governing Information Assurance policies and procedures; ensures COMSEC/CCI repair functions comply with Army and National Security Agency specifications and policies when required; Writes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which establishes Army electronic maintenance requirements; inspect equipment for faults and completeness; test equipment to determine operational condition; troubleshoot to determine location and extent of equipment faults; repair equipment by adjusting aligning repairing or replacing defective components; tests repaired equipment to ensure compliance with technical specifications; evacuates equipment and components to higher level repair activities based on the Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC); prepares appropriate maintenance forms and records; logs maintenance in accordance with The Army regulation and technical manuals; maintain authorized spare parts supply stock tool lists technical manuals and instructional material; perform preventive maintenance checks and services; maintain maintenance facility technical library; ensures that National Security Agency (NSA) approved components are used in COMSEC/CCI repairs when required; controls and accounts for COMSEC/CCI within the repair facility;

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Perform Level 10/20/30 Maintenance on radio receiver's transmitters COMSEC equipment.

    • Ensures regulatory compliance with Department of Defense and national level directives governing

    • Information Assurance policies and procedures.

    • Ensures COMSEC/CCI repair functions comply with Army and National Security Agency specifications and policies when required.

    • Ensure all forms used are properly filled out and maintained IAW applicable regulations.

    • ASL Authorized Stockage Listing shop stock and bench stock changes Radio Equipment.

    • Coordinator for the Calibration Program (TMDE) for the maintenance facilities.

    • Prepare Monthly SII complete and submit CDRL with inventory documents.

    Non-Essential Duties:

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualification:

    • High School Grad or GED.

    • May be required ASE Certifications

    • 10 years' experience on tactical radios RT 1523 & PRC 148.

    • Minimum 5 years radio installation/removal repairs commercial.

    • Must be a US Citizen.

    • Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.
