    Job Description:

    CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our Corporate MarComm team. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

    •\tCreating, developing and producing basic to highly complex marketing and communication content to support marketing campaigns, brand management, internal programs and employee communications.

    •\tDeveloping creative briefs, writes copy, works with designers, and obtains necessary approvals before publishing materials.

    •\tDeveloping content with the style and editorial guidelines appropriate for the channel.

    •\tPushing and publicizing content across appropriate channels, including email programs, website, social media, events, press distribution, intranet site, and advertising.

    •\tBeing responsible for building and managing the campaigns in the applicable technologies.

    •\tAdministering the implementation of marketing and communications programs.

    •\tCreating the budget and calendar of events.

    •\tDetermining and tracking key performance metrics to measure success and establishes change management communications techniques to identify need for greater clarity.

    •\tModifying programs and information flow based on results.

    •\tProviding technical guidance and training to more junior staff.

    •\tMentoring more junior staff and developing them for future growth within the discipline and firm.

    •\tMay participate in the review of the work of junior staff on project work.

    •\tConducting research (Ex: market research, best practices, etc.) to assist in the development of communications materials.

    •\tPerforming other duties as required.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree. 4 years of related experience.

    Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

    Skills and Abilities:

    •\tAdvanced knowledge of all communications platforms.

    •\tAdvanced ability to research technical information from background sources, conduct interviews, and synthesize the data into communication materials.

    •\tAdvanced ability to provide or construct marketing materials with appropriate style, grammar, and proper English syntax.

    •\tAdvanced ability to work collaboratively as a member of a communications team in preparing print materials, audio-visual presentations, and Web-based communications.

    •\tGood interpersonal skills.

    •\tAdvanced written and oral communications skills.

    •\tAdvanced ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as digital channel platforms.
