How You Will Elevate the Brand:
Work with the internal creative and marketing teams to develop and build creative concepts and write copy that further the brand for campaigns, print, tv, digital video, emails, social, website, OOH, and retail
Breathe life and passion into all copy-help hone, carry, and evolve the brand tone of voice throughout all communication
Collaborate with Junior Art Director to execute and build everything from seasonal campaign to one-off tactical needs
Provide options and multiple solutions to partners for each brief while adhering to deadlines (work with Project Manager to adjust timelines if needed)
Become an expert in all things Smartwool-from culture to community to fabric to Merino sheep. Work with the marketing team, product team, ops, finance, and creative team to stay up to speed on all Smartwool initiatives. Ask lots of questions.
Proof, edit, review copy to make sure it is immaculate, well-written, and grammatically correct
Review work with Creative Director and Associate Creative Director for approval and to keep team informed
Help support the entire creative team through ideation and collaboration-working with Creative Director, Art Directors, other Copywriters, Retail Team, Designers, and Production to ensure the success of the work and teammates.
Work with the product team to help develop product names, product descriptions, and features and benefits for each season
Create a consistent sense of brand based on brand values throughout all creative work-holds up and pushes the brand forward
Work with team and managers while taking the initiative to stay up to date with current advertising trends, communication styles, and marketing techniques
Be an advocate for our values-enjoy and contribute to the rich culture of Smartwool. This will help our copy reflect the right attitude.
Performs additional duties as deemed appropriate by the Creative Director or Assistant Creative Director

Organized-ability to coordinate several projects at once while still adhering to project deadlines
Communicates with appropriate team members in a timely matter to keep projects moving
Educational/Position Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Advertising, or relative field
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (Minimal)
Strong writing and grammar skill set with a creative tone
Brand GTM experience
Exhibits a fun-loving attitude and has pride in making great work
