Designs and produces collateral and web materials that are used to promote Canon's B2B business products, services, sales initiatives, and achievements, among other things. These materials are used primarily for marketing/promotion, sales support, and brand awareness. This person knows art and graphic design, 2D and 3D animation production and programming, and a wide variety of software applications that support multimedia development, including video editing.
Designs and manages creative process for brochures, spec sheets, flyers, folders, advertising ads for both print and web, signage, point-of-purchase stickers, newsletters, event invitations, trade show booth displays and handouts, PPT presentations, email blasts, specialty materials, and social media assets.
Edits, proofreads, and obtains approvals of materials created/managed.
Prepares all files for final destinations, whether web or print vendor; manages all native files and the department Digital Library.
Edits videos for web uploading; creates video graphics as needed.
Conducts photo research; can do photo-retouching and color correction for materials or independent requests as needed.
Collaborates with product/other divisional teams to ensure that all projects and schedules are met.
Must have thorough knowledge of, and experience with, the latest programs, including, but not limited to, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe X Pro, Adobe Premier Pro; Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; HTML, CSS; Adobe Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro, video and animation tools.
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or relevant field required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in graphic design for both traditional and web-based materials; portfolio preferred
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required
Proficiency in HTML, CSS; MacOs; video editing required
Experience with additional digital platforms a plus
Must be detail-oriented and able to see projects through from concept to completion
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and effectively respond to last-minute requests and tight timelines a must
Must be comfortable interacting with many people across multiple groups
Ability to receive constructive feedback and work within brand identity
