    About the Role

    In this role, you will work in an energizing, inclusive, and creative environment focused on concepting and creating sustainable product that exceeds customers' expectations. Your goal is to partner with cross functional team members who collectively are responsible for ensuring that the product style, fit, and quality are more than worth the price for our customers. You will set the overall global design direction for the conceptual development of a specific product line. Must lean into risk taking and be customer curious!

    What You'll Do

    • Sets overall direction in Trend and Innovation for Female Denim

    • Fully responsible for all aspects of entire product design process to include market research, mood board creation, designing, sketching, specing and fit.

    • Responsible for managing and providing creative direction to design team

    • Needs to have strong relationship with cross functional teams to help create the line. Working hand and hand with R&D, PD, Wash and Merch to make sure the seasonal line creation is smooth.

    • Fully responsible for ensuring that product is consistent with market trends as well as business strategy; interprets international/domestic concepts and fashion trends as it relates to market demands, company image and business strategy.

    • Oversee selection of fabric and trim.

    • Research global markets in order to identify new seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, techniques, product categories and competitive inspiration

    • Provides overall recommendations and sets tone regarding style and fit of product(s) during presentation.

    • Ensures consistency of look between differing businesses (e.g., Woven bottoms and Woven tops).

    • Develop strong internal cross functional relationships with Merchandising, Production, and Technical design to ensure product concept to store and site execution is a seamless customer experience.

    • Possess an elevated sense of style, aesthetic, and color and understand how to translate trends through the lens of the customer and brand filter

    • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment, with the ability to juggle multiple seasons at one time and track development deadlines

    Who You Are

    • Strong knowledge of Denim fabrics and wash capabilities

    • Current on technology trend within the Denim landscape

    • 7-10 years of design experience

    • Minimum 4 years of management experience

    • Extensive Technical Performance knowledge

    • Excellent leadership/management skills

    • Ability to set overall creative tone and lead creative design process

    • Excellent sense of style and color

    • Proven excellent presentation and negotiation skills

    • Ability to deal with managerial issues

    • BA in Fashion Design or Equivalent

    • In-depth knowledge of Denim techniques and processes

    Salary Range: $104,100 - $137,900 USD

    Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
