Summary of Position

We are seeking a Senior Illustrator/Graphic Designer to join our team within the Digital business unit. The Senior Illustrator/Graphic Designer position will support the development of SANS Digital training products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create illustrations and storyboards for animated training videos and print materials based on scripted content.

• Work with other graphic designers and illustrators to develop high-quality, impactful training materials that align with our brand.

• Use strong knowledge of layout, composition, color theory, and digital art production to create effective designs.

• Design user interfaces and apply knowledge of user experience principles in our digital assets.

• Ensure all design work follows our brand guidelines and maintains consistency across different projects.

• Help keep the team's work consistent, adapting to various styles as needed.

• Continuously improve your own design and illustration skills.

• Keep up with new trends and technologies in digital media and incorporate them into our design work.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field, or similar work experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in creating illustrations for animated videos.

• Skilled in using Mac and Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet, Slack, and Dropbox.

Reporting Relationships

• This position reports to the Creative Director of Security Awareness.

• This role does not have direct reports but involves collaborative project work.

Work Environment

• Remote work environment with occasional travel for required meetings up to 10%

The base salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
