    This resource will be responsible for performing and coordinating a range of communications and related tasks as part of a program management support team. The individual must possess a high level of experience working with or consulting for federal government, and be proficient at framing, developing, reviewing, and presenting deliverables to senior-level clients with minimal supervision. Strong writing and editing abilities are required. Regular responsibilities include communications planning and coordination, writing press releases, preparing correspondence, drafting messages and talking points, developing reports for publication, and monitoring news coverage. An ability to interpret data is also important in order to incorporate statistics into communications products.

    The individual should also possess experience with a variety of program management responsibilities and a willingness to be flexible in supporting numerous work products and deliverables, which may include meeting support, policy development, and process documentation. The resource will be part of a small team that operates in a matrix fashion and has a long track record of support for this client.


    Required: Three or more years of direct strategic communications experience supporting federal government organizations, strong writing background, experience with preparing documents for final delivery or publication including an ability to conduct quality assurance and quality control, and experience presenting information/leading meetings and working directly with senior-level clients. In addition, resource should have experience with progress tracking and reporting, and coordinating tasks across all phases of development and delivery. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher level of Education. Applicants must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

    ***** Individual should have a minimum of 5 years of experience consulting to the US Federal government.**

    Desired: Demonstrated success with another consulting firm within the federal government. Experience supervising/leading 1-2 staff members.
