Technical Writer

Job Description

The Technical Writer will support the Cloud Center of Expertise in migrating documentation to a GitLab pages site. This position can be located in ATL or MSP. The Technical Writer develops written information regarding the development, use, and support of computing systems. Outputs include a range of documents to be read by both technical and non-technical personnel using and supporting those systems.

• Coordinates design and writing of technical documentation.

• Contributes content to the knowledge repositories.

• Delivers written documentation, including procedures, user manuals, and quick reference guides.

• Writes requirements for systems documentation changes.

• Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately documented .

• Participate in reviews and re-designs of page content and structure.

• Responds to general questions about language, writing, and writing tools.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft® Office suite.

• Edits written material for grammar, clarity and audience comprehension.
