    Reporting to the Business Management lead within the Head of Office of the Chief Information and Operations Office, the Technical Writer is responsible for the effective and efficient drafting, composition and refinement of written communication surrounding new and ongoing regulatory and audit issues, significant change-related programs and efforts requiring senior stakeholder level communication.

    Major Responsibilities:

    Primary: Regulatory and Executive Stakeholder communication

    Designs and delivers clear, effective communication, ensuring appropriate preparation, fact-checking and review cycles

    Works with the Business Operations lead to develop and implement a clear process for the efficient flow of information with Regulators, Home Office, the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership

    Typical content includes new and ongoing updates surrounding Regulatory, significant Audit issues, Tech Imperatives, and key Transformation updates

    Primary: Ops & Tech Change Communications

    Works with the business to support significant change-related programs and efforts requiring senior stakeholder level communication

    Secondary: Documented policies & standards

    Works with the Business Operations lead to ensures the Tech & Ops organization has clearly documented procedures that are communicated throughout all operating groups

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

    Skills & Abilities:

    8-10 years of technical writing and industry experience including 3-5 years as a communications professional in the legal and/or regulated industry

    Works effectively in a team environment; addresses conflicts appropriately, and builds productive partnerships with customers, business partners, and stakeholders in order to achieve targeted business results

    Exceptional writer and communicator; builds relationships with business partners and ensures prompt, transparent proactive, and effective communications with these partners; presents complex issues and ideas with precision and clarity, adjusting appropriately for the audience; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

    Clearly crafts senior-level stakeholder written communication, tailored appropriately to the audience

    Able to grasp new technology paradigms and assess them rapidly, leveraging deep and broad technology experience in large, complex environments

    Stays abreast of technology trends and cutting edge ideas to ensure an eye to the future
