Technical Writer/Business Analyst to join our training team in Washington DC to begin an exciting and challenging career..
The candidate should be able to set up meetings and run reports in WebEx software.
Requirements gathering, process analysis, storyboarding, creating outlines, script writing for training materials as well as presentations skills are required. Additionally, the candidate must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and the supporting software necessary in support configuration management.
The ability/willingness to do voice over work for training materials is a plus.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities
Create and edit user guides for the CATS software system and supporting applications.
Ability to analyze and gather requirements from clients and articulate those requirements into outlines for the training development team.
Create screen mockups or storyboards for training development efforts.
Reviews document formatting. Ensures style, tone, margins, spacing, and page layout are appropriate and in-keeping established standards. Provides the editorial and graphics expertise in liaison work with printers, graphic designers, webmasters, typesetters, photo composers, binders, etc. Creates or edits graphics using standard desktop software when required.
Maintain registrations, schedule meetings and provide analytics from the tool WebEx.
Utilizes technical expertise to draft technical manuals, briefs, instructional material, guidebooks, supplement handbooks, and/or software and hardware documentation, and bulletins on Financial Management and Information Technology topics that pertain to the Asset Forfeiture Program.
Obtains technical data from independent observation, review with technical staff members, and studies of published materials and existing documentation in order to create current and innovative marketing content in support of the asset forfeiture program's public facing web site.
Interfaces with client and program team members to obtain background information of technologies, methods, and standards.
Update application technical documentation, requirements analysis, specification documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical templates.

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Must pass a DOJ Minimal Background Investigation, MBI, Level 5 background investigation. Valid EQIP JPAS transfers acceptable
Requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
