As a Senior Visual Communication Designer in Lilly's Design Labs, you will be expected to work on a wide range of projects for medical devices, combination products and small molecule. Every day will be different, and the scope of work will vary-concepts for clinical trials, to product launch tactics for commercialization and everything in between. You will be responsible for ensuring that your design solutions meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Most importantly, you will be expected to ensure that your work is human-centered, focused on improving user experiences, and possess the ability to balance the needs of business cross-functionally.
A major part of this role is learning about the people that we serve and their user journeys-
ensure people are at the center of everything that we do.
At times, you may be asked to assist and/or lead in managing external design vendors on projects.
However, the majority of your work will be more hands on; primarily expected to perform as a

with design research, prototypes for human factor formatives, brand consultations, presentations, communications, process improvement, design systems, design guidance documents, and many
other strategic initiatives.
Not unique to Lilly, but as a Senior Visual Communication Designer in Lilly's Design Labs, you will often be asked to wear many hats and be expected to perform well under pressure. To achieve these objectives, you will be expected to demonstrate the following capabilities:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication Design
Minimum of 3 years of work experience
Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Portfolio submission demonstrating expertise and design leadership across diverse mediums
and tactics is required to be considered (pdf or link to site is acceptable)
Self-motivated requiring minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong working knowledge of production and pre-press
Experience leading and working with design systems, brand guidelines and integrated marketing/brand campaigns
Travel up to 25% both US and OUS
Location Indianapolis, IN relocation required if not local
