Our client is building a team of designers, researchers, and writers to support their mission. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and security of written materials that contribute to the dissemination of critical intelligence information. In this role, you will be working onsite alongside the client to complete the following:
Writing, editing, and presenting information in multiple formats to include Microsoft Office Suite of tools and SharePoint
Collaborate with developers and managers to clarify technical issues
Collect, organize, and update National Systems for the user's needs stored in JIRA
Update The client's Intel Dissemination Portal customer page in SharePoint as needed while acting as the user's advocate in the product development process, which requires a solid understanding of the targeted users as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Maintain records and files of work and revisions in shared file locations
Support other ad hoc technical writing or staff writing activities as assigned by the Program Management Office (PMO)
Utilize critical thinking data gathering and analytic skills
Bachelor's Degree in communications, arts, or related field
Demonstrated experience providing strategic communications support, speechwriting, or technical writing
Demonstrate advanced skill in oral and interpersonal communication, and writing at collegiate and professional levels, especially news and feature writing
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with drafting documents and briefings
Demonstrated experience with Associated Press (AP) Style guidelines
Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Ability to work on site regularly in St. Louis, MO
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required
Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
Demonstrated experience with HTML and CSS
Demonstrated experience working with Redmine and JIRA applications
Extensive experience using Microsoft Word, including Track Changes, formatting, and layout functions
Expertise in using, formatting, and designing PDF files
Have previous experience with reviewing and editing sourcing for finished intelligence
Have knowledge of production methodology for publishing products in electronic format, including file organization, version control, and documenting next steps and instructions.

Depending on the specific client contract, responsibilities of this role may include:
Execute on technical and/or functional project deliverables in accordance with specific client needs and standards
Maintain the client's organizational web pages and/or business systems
Perform web-based programming
Provide guidance and direction on a day-to-day basis for web publication requirements
Foster and manage the relationships between the client and the engagement team through publication best practices
Assist in the analysis of client requirements to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs
Collaborate with the team on the most relevant tools/techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements
Consult to develop solutions to client problems via use of methodologies and software application tools
Assign new user roles and rights
Post PDFs and HTML content to web pages, editing HTML and creating thumbnails, and updating posted products
Technical Bachelor's Degree
Ability to developed & maintain custom code for client webpages utilizing HTML, JavaScript & CSS
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required
Ability to work onsite at client location
10+ years providing support for Intelligence Community clients
Extensive knowledge of SharePoint data retrieval and customization techniques
Experience creating and maintaining JIRA Confluence websites
Proficient use of various Adobe tools including Dreamweaver
Strong background in science and/or mathematics and/or programming (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Python, C)
Experience integrating legacy systems with Cloud-based solutions
Advanced skillset of editing written work for grammar, style, and technical accuracy
Knowledge of publishing principles and publication design, including best practices for electronic and print layouts for publications
Experience testing Web Applications for SharePoint environment
