As a Graphic Illustrator you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and modification of design content in support of proposals. A large majority of work will be completed within the Adobe Suite, primarily (but not limited to) Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and XD. Established proficiency in the Adobe design suite is critical. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability and confidence to decipher direction and ultimately meet or exceed expectations.

Skills and Qualifications

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience

10+ years of related experience in a design environment and deadline-driven workplace

Proficiency in the Adobe Design Suite (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and XD)

Understanding and RFP experience

Experience designing proposal graphics

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products

Proficiency in design standards and principles

Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities and Duties

Create new proposal assets in various formats

Modify existing proposal assets for use across a variety of platforms and channels

Develop comprehensive proposal graphics

Intake design needs and deciphers design direction

Develop best-value creative recommendations

Provide design/art input for multiple projects

Perform design-related quality control functions

Other duties as assigned.

Critical thinking skills: must display strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical capabilities when interacting with clients, direct reports, managers, peers, and stakeholders.

Communication skills: must be able to listen carefully to accurately gather facts and figures from clients, managers, peers, and stakeholders. Must also be able to clearly articulate the results of your work and present their findings in written reports. Must be able to organize, facilitate, and collaborate within cross-functional teams - demonstrating a collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs

Attention to detail: must pay strong attention to detail in order to be able to keep information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the project.

Computer literacy: need to be able to use computer-based tools to work effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Suites or related software.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
