Overview
ABM is looking for a Digital Content Writer to develop captivating content that highlights the challenges companies face and how ABM can help them solve these problems while maintaining a strong and lasting partnership.
This individual should possess great storytelling skills and have an absolute passion for writing in order develop engaging content and stories about ABM's industry-leading solutions. This individual will work with internal clients, sales representatives, and subject matter experts across ABM to brainstorm and develop content for a wide variety of marketing channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Writes content for a multitude of marketing and sales materials across a variety of channels including collateral, infographics, newsletters, blog posts, video scripts, emails, website pages, landing pages, digital and print ads, and more
Edits and proofs all content and marketing-developed materials for spelling, grammar, syntax, and structure
Ensures all content and marketing-developed materials adhere to the defined brand voice and tone for consistency
Proactively interviews internal subject matter experts and clients to develop case studies, white papers, articles for publications, and other thought leadership-based content
Researches industry, competitor, and client information to clearly express and position problems, benefits, and differentiators
Maintains a library and knowledge of all existing and approved marketing-developed material
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
4-8 years of journalism or content marketing experience, ideally in a B2B setting
Experience writing commercial insights utilizing CEB's Challenger marketing is desired
Writing experience in facility services such as engineering, cleaning, energy solutions, HVAC, electrical, parking, or other building trades is desired, but an ability to learn complex subject matter and ask the right questions will suffice.
Proven experience developing content for data sheets, whitepapers, case studies, articles, brochures, video scripts, newsletters, infographics, social media, emails, websites, and landing pages.
Well organized with the ability to multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team.
Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently
