Position: Technical Writer (with Video Editing Skills) - Storage Validation and Testing Technologies

Our client is a pioneering leader in storage validation and testing technologies. We're seeking a skilled Technical Writer with video editing capabilities to bolster their team. Their products are pivotal in the test and development labs of major storage hardware and software vendors globally, catering to diverse applications such as telecom, defense, and beyond.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Content Creation: Develop high-quality technical white papers, articulating the features, capabilities, and applications of their VirtuaLUN NVMe Initiator and related products.

• Updates and Iterations: Maintain and update existing white papers, aligning them with new iterations, features, and technological advancements.

• Video Production: Create concise and engaging "how-to" videos (1 to 5 minutes) using screen grabs and recordings to guide customers through various product-related tasks.

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to gather information and insights for accurate and comprehensive documentation.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all written materials and videos, maintaining a high standard of technical excellence.

• Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in technical writing within the technology industry, preferably in storage, networking, or related fields.

• Proficiency: Profound understanding of storage technologies, particularly NVMe, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.

• Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing software to create engaging instructional videos for customer education purposes.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for simplifying complex technical concepts.

• Collaborative Nature: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, extracting technical information to produce accurate and compelling content.
