Apple's AIML organization is looking for a Communications Specialist, Editorial to support key communications initiatives that will be seen by employees within AIML, across Apple, and the ML community externally. This role requires exceptional written communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships, and understanding of how to create written content that spans technical to visionary. We are looking for a creative problem solver who can strategize and implement in a constantly evolving environment.

    Key Qualifications

    • 5 years+ experience creating and completing written communications initiatives, spanning complex technical and thought-leadership/visionary, preferably within an AI or ML environment.

    • Excellent and extensive skills in writing, editing, and project management, and creating content for a variety of topics across a range of channels, with a focus on digital platforms, and large-scale internal meetings.

    • Experience implementing strong communications strategies with an uncanny ability to translate complex stories into a compelling and relatable narrative.

    • Experience working in both program and project management, with skills in leading complex, cross-functional communications projects for global audiences.

    • Experience working with senior leaders and crafting presentations and communication collateral that inspires, informs, and engages.

    • Familiarity in strategic internal communications with a focus on change management and organizational effectiveness.

    • Experience in working with visual designers to bridge written content with impactful presentations and multi-media experiences.

    • Familiarity in working with and managing vendors, agencies, and contractors.

    • Strong ability to drive action through collaboration, proactivity, and flexibility, and is able to rally people and influence at all levels to get things done.

    • Passion for building a positive organizational culture around a unified mission, with a cultural awareness that identifies new concepts and emerging trends to enhance community within a global workforce.

    • Experience working in a pioneering tech environment, or in a communications agency.

    • Proficient in Keynote, Pages; skilled in Slack; and experience using project management tools.

    Apple's AIML group is looking for a Communications Specialist, Editorial to drive awareness of critical organizational initiatives and strategies across diverse audiences. We're looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and creative communicator who can help us connect our people to our purpose. In this role, you'll bring your talents to develop and complete the communications that bring our ideas, research, products and values to life, connect with teams across geographies and functions, and elevate the employee experience. This role requires strong relationship management, editorial planning, copywriting expertise, project management, keen attention to detail, ability to work through ambiguity, and multi-functional coordination. You'll be, at various times, a writer, project manager, storyteller, and strategist. To succeed in this role, you'll be able to crisply summarize technical and business concepts in writing and in-person. We are looking for a creative problem solver who can strategize, complete, and implement in an ever-changing environment-and always put the employee experience at the center of everything they do.

    Education & Experience

    Bachelor's degree, editorial writing, communications, PR, marketing, or related field preferred.

    Pay & Benefits

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,500.00 and $223,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
